Rubens At The Palace Hotel London

I was disappointed with the room size and amenities at Rubens at the Palace. However, the staff's excellent service and stunning views made up for it. The hotel's prime location by Buckingham Palace was convenient, and the old-world charm added to the experience. Would return despite some shortcomings.

The hotel's location, within walking distance of Buckingham Palace and Victoria Station, is very convenient when arriving from Gatwick Airport. The kindness and availability of the staff, from reception to breakfast. The perfect comfort of the bedding. The breakfast, extremely varied, complete and tasty.

The room was a little small for the price paid. In addition, it was overlooking a wall full of technical ducts and fireplaces... not great. The shower had no pressure and did not have a hand shower...complicated.

Pre-payment by internet is not possible, it was necessary to make a transfer to the establishment via their RIB. It is better to speak the language rather well to manage an alternative payment solution !

Just stayed at a hotel very close to Buckingham Palace. Breakfast was fantastic, with a great selection. Staff were amazing. Would DEFINITELY choose this place again. Photos don't do justice!

The location is perfect, next to the Gatwick Express, so in 30 minutes you are at the airport. Five minutes from Buckingham Palace. Very elegant hotel. Excellent staff, always attentive. The rooms are very nice and comfortable although somewhat small but it is the norm in London. The restaurants and bars are exceptional. There is live music in the American bar every night.

It's an expensive hotel, but in keeping with what it has to offer. The breakfast is excessively expensive, it is 23 pounds per person and it is not very varied.

Despite a few minor inconveniences like check-in issues and room size, the decor was pleasing and the room was kept very clean. The staff, especially Raj, Tony, and Craig, were exceptional and made my stay enjoyable. Overall, a convenient and comfortable choice for a stay near the heart of London.

The location and facilities

The service. They opened the door of the room with the sign on not to disturb, they never replaced the fruit, sometimes not even the milk for the coffee or the toothpaste. In short, the details that should make the difference between normal and excellent.

The staff were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lovely, rooms comfy with a drawback of space. Overall, a great experience! cheers.

2nd time I or my family go to this establishment. It's a palace just perfect, all comfort, with excellent service. Geographically perfectly placed. Staff who listen to you and are always ready to help you in any situation, whether it is for people with reduced mobility or others. Perfect food. Highly recommended

Rubens, despite being an old hotel, has an air of irresistible aristocracy. common areas are beautiful with impeccable service. Breakfast is served at the table and you should not miss the different varieties of eggs. For my taste the rooms are too small and bathroom is adjusted to the maximum. situation is unbeatable. We'll make a note of it for next time.

Absolutely loved the central location for sightseeing, especially being so close to Buckingham Palace and all the iconic spots. The staff made us feel pampered, and exploring the city was a breeze with their recommendations. The room lighting setup was a bit funky—couldn't turn on bathroom lights without the main ones, a small glitch in an otherwise top-notch experience! 💫

Always choose this hotel. First stay, staff helped with late departure, very kind. Everything I need: Wi-Fi, luggage storage, 24-hour reception, bar/lounge area. Coming back for Christmas.

Everything was perfect. The location is 2min walk from victoria station.

I had a wonderful stay at a cozy double room at Rubens. Although the room was quite small, it was perfect for one person with a small suitcase, just like I needed. The staff was polite and helpful, and the location was convenient. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Loved our stay! Kids' check-in was a hit. Initially, room seemed dated, but grew on us. Breakfast was top-notch. Missing minibar was a letdown. Staff were accommodating and food was excellent. Can't beat the location. Already planning our next visit.

We loved our stay at this amazing hotel. The location was perfect, with easy access to popular attractions in Victoria and Central London. The breakfast staff were fantastic, accommodating various dietary needs with separate cooking to prevent cross-contamination. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was great. The rooms were comfortable and well-equipped. The English Grill at the hotel also provided a wonderful dining experience, with outstanding waiting staff and a knowledgeable sommelier.

Pleasantly surprised by the hotel's manager who went above and beyond to rectify an issue with my granddaughters' postcards. They even sent them souvenirs from London. The staff were kind, professional, and the atmosphere was amazing. The room was spacious, comfortable, and had all the necessary amenities. Breakfast was exceptional. I highly recommend this hotel for a wonderful stay.

This hotel provides a luxurious and elegant experience. the exclusive amenities in the room were fantastic, such as the plush bedding and pillows that gave us a comfortable night's sleep. the room was also impressively clean with top-quality toiletries. the restaurant had a great menu, serving delicious food cooked beautifully.

The room we stayed in lacked private facilities, which would have been an even more exclusive experience. the view from our room was not as breathtaking as we had hoped, which was a minor issue considering the other positive aspects.

Fantastic Xmas experience; loved the festive decorations and atmosphere. the staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring our comfort and satisfaction. the room was beautifully decorated with plenty of mirrors. the cleanliness was impeccable and guest services were prompt. Breakfast had a wide variety of options and the service was excellent.

The room lacked storage space, with a desk as the only option. the shower had a fixed rain head, making it difficult to avoid getting hair soaked.

I recently stayed at a lovely hotel near Buckingham Palace for a few nights. The classic English building had beautiful interiors and the rooms were a good size with lovely decor. The location was amazing, being next to the palace and just a 10-minute walk to Piccadilly and 20 minutes to Harrods. The staff at the hotel were incredibly attentive and kind-hearted, making my stay memorable. The facilities were also great, and I must mention the exceptional bathroom with a fantastic bath and shower. it was a bargain for the money and I would happily stay there again.

The only downside was the small shower room and lack of a view from the window. Overall, a fair price for a fantastic location and wonderful service.

The staff were wonderful, knowledgeable, and very helpful. The bedroom facilities were great, including lots of wardrobe space and a large mirror with a plug next to it for the hair dryer. The bed was large and comfortable, and we had a turn-down service every night. The breakfast choice was good, with both buffet and cooked options. The location of this hotel is perfect for exploring the city, as it is very close to a major train station and within walking distance of many tourist sites. After a long day of sightseeing, it was convenient to have a tube station nearby. The room was clean and comfortable, and the bathroom was spacious. The service provided by the staff was excellent, and the breakfast offered a variety of options. the hotel had great facilities and advantages for a pleasant stay.

The hotel overlooks the Royal Mews, so I enjoyed watching the royal family's comings and goings. The staff were exceptional - Kevin, Greg, and Andrea were lovely. Breakfast was outstanding.
